Chefs kiss! This place is amazing good. Service was great, we tried the burrata which was totally worth $25! Pizzas are large enough to share and delicious! Wine selection was fantastic and our server had perfect recommendations for the different tastes at our table. Definitely make a reservation.
This Marina mainstay is a classic Italian wood fired pizza establishment with a true focus on curated Italian wines I find that there is a lot for me to learn - as a wine lover - about the various wines coming from Italy. Be prepared to find a fine list of by the glass and by the bottle beautiful wines.
The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The staff accommodating. I recently sat at the bar and had the best service. Kind, helpful, warm and friendly.
The food - top quality and delicious. Not pictured - salads with fresh ingredients and subtle dressing. I love great meatballs - and theirs did not disappoint. I found them a bit lighter than many and quite delicious. The pizza -- outstanding. I've had a few here, but this night, the Arrabbiata pizza with tomato, pancetta, mozzarella di bufala, grana padano, red onion, calabrian chili was just so delicious.
A16 has locations in Oakland and the Ferry Building also. This is a must-visit restaurant.

First off, make a reservation if you're planning to go at a popular time! By some stroke of luck, we managed to get a table in the dining room upon arrival instead of the high-top table we reserved, but this was also late on a Tuesday night. We got seated quickly and service throughout the night was great.
The -0.5 star is for the drink selection - I wished they had a normal aperol spritz.
The food was amazing. The caprese was a great start to the meal. The pizza takes you on a trip to Italy with its thin crust, crispy exterior but soft interior, and the simple tomato sauce with sprigs of basil. The artichoke and cheese combination was excellent in the Bresaola pizza. The tiramisu topped it all off.
This is a great place to celebrate an occasion or show a visiting loved one some of the best of SF restaurants!
The place had a great feel to it. As you walk in, a huge wine selection greets you as well as attentive staff.
We sat in the back semi outdoor space, which was great because it was a chilly summer evening.
Our server was great, and he was able to explain items from the menu without us feeling dumb about food items we didn't know about. Especially since the restaurant prints the head chef and various positions on the menu, we knew there were industry specific items that we, lay people, wouldn't know about.
We got so much food. I wasn't able to snap shots of everything like the Braised Meatballs, arugula salad, wines, and desserts.

Food is eclectic and life changing. Even during busy times, service was fantastic. Ambiance is can get loud.
